Search and Research #29

The day that my buddy Jason wrote this one I had to work late. That night, for the first time, I saw a dude walking around the library with a pizza box. I think that now, I'm going to be asking Jason for the outcomes of sports games! Cha-Ching! Enjoy

I tell freshman students when I give them their library tour that it's ok to order pizza, but I've never seen anyone do it yet. I kind of like it that way.

At my old library, the staff were the ones ordering take out at the circ desk. Usually it was Chinese, but a pizza sneaked in there once in a while. :c)

On the other hand, I've seen students coming in with trays full of food from the cafeteria. And then there was the appropriately named "Summer of the Food Pyramid" where we found one item from (almost) every part of the food pyramid hiding in the stacks, including a quarter of a watermelon that caused a lot of book and shelf damage.

A quarter of watermelon? seriously? wow...that may actually make it into a strip if you're ok with that...

Go right ahead. :c) The watermelon was sitting on the top bookshelf (hence damage to all the books and shelves in that column). I'm still wondering about how the thing got there in the first place...
